Watercolor Backgrounds
Memories
I did about five background attempts before settling on this one for my layout. I think I used too much water for the dry part of the technique but in the end I was ok with how this one turned out. Since I only have A4 watercolour paper, this time I decided to just run with that rather than trying to stick two pieces together. This is also what helped drive the layout design. The colours I used guided me on what background cardstock to use. Since I love splatters, i also added some tone-on-tone splatters at the top and bottom of each of the colours. I kept my embellishment to a minimum so that the watercolour and photo could take centre stage.
