Watercolor Backgrounds
Squidge and Boofhead
The first photo shows the lesson technique 'splendid splatters' and the second photos shows how the background was made into a 12"x12" layout. I don't have any 12" watercolour cardstock, so I used two A4 pieces and joined them together and then layered the watercolour cardstock onto pink cardstock. I used my watercolour palette, picking the colours yellow, redish and pink.

So much fun! Turned out great and I love the color scheme, my favorite!
Thanks Irit. I wanted to try and be as close to what you were teaching. I knew my layout would be different but where I could try to mimic what you had done I did. I learn better that way. If I can copy to begin with, I then learn from that how to incorporate my own style for the next time.

What a great layout and lovely background Fiona!! Beautiful colour scheme and photo. I am pretty sure I would love that title if I knew what it meant LOL (so I will be checking out your video ;)
Thanks Moira. My brother's nickname is Squidge and he calls me Boofhead. Growing up, even some of his friends didn't know his real name and only knew him as Squidge. How I got Boofhead I don't know, but Ih have three brothers and they all have a different nickname for me LOL.
