Steel shot is made from spherical steel in fully heat-treated condition. This gives it optimum resilience and resistance to fatigue. Most wheel blast applications use steel shot. It is widely used because it has a high level of cleaning efficiency and economical cost. It is used in shot peening applications as well. Its durability and corrosion resistance make it a good choice for blast cleaning and descaling applications.
