Lean manufacturing is a production approach intended primarily at reducing times within the production system in addition to feedback times from suppliers and to clients. It is closely related to one more principle called Just-in-time manufacturing.The calculated elements of lean can be rather complex, and make up several elements. Lean manufacturing is different from lean enterprise. Current study reports the presence of several lean manufacturing processes however of few lean enterprises.
