I\'m so glad you\'re creating so much! I think your layout is lovely, and like @Davean said, not to much white space at all! White space is important for giving the eye a place to rest. I also love how you\'re using the diagonal leading line of ink splatter and embellishment that goes right through your photo. It really draws your eye straight to your beautiful daughter\'s photo. Well done! Asymmetrical balance can definitely be tricky, but the more you use it, the more you will \'feel\' when a layout is balanced.

</use>
2

</use> Reply

1 Reply

StephinCanada says…

01/23/2016

Thank you! It is nice to know why I am putting items down instead of following what someone else has done. A big slow down for me is taking too much time looking around for things to fit a sketch, but I felt more confident as to why I was pulling particular product!

</use>
2

Sign in or sign up to comment.

Happiness is You

Uploaded 01/23/2016

Here is my page for Asymmetrical balance. This one was a joy to create. It is about my younger daughter\'s feistiness, which makes me crazy but happy all at the same time! I found this one trickier to bring the same elements across my page, and I\'m a bit worried there is too much white space, but I still think it makes me happy so I\'m happy with it.

@StephinCanada
United States

Project Made In: Principle Power

</use>

5

"; $("#gallery-dialog").data('gallery-id', 2067).attr('data-gallery-id', 2067).dialog('close').html(gallery); window.picturefill(); $(".timeago").timeago(); $("#gallery-dialog").dialog("open"); // History.pushState(null, "", "/galleries/2067-happiness-is-you")
