Split Kit - Layout #01 - Smile Fun
Before making any projects with my Split kit, I went through and grouped pattern papers together and selected the photos I wanted to scrap.
This is the first layout I made. I enjoyed making the layout and find a way to use the beautiful dragonfly pattern paper. I found that particular paper very busy and overwhelming but was determined to use it. I went through a book that I sketch layouts in and found that suited the photo and papers I used.
I also did a little bit of mixed media by applying modeling paste with one of my circle stencils.
Even though green is not a colour I usually work with, in such large quantities, I'm quite happy with how this layout came together and the finished result.

Adorable! I love how you've been using photo frames on this and other layouts.
