Required Supplies
Do you have all your supplies? Use this checklist to be sure you're not missing anything you'll need!
-
Dye Ink Pads - Various Colors We will be using a variety of dye ink pads to add color and pattern in our projects. Any brand of ink pad will do (as long as it's NOT waterproof!)
-
Watercolor Card We will be using watercolor card as the base for most of our handmade cards - it should be smooth and white.
-
Stamps We will be using a variety of stamps in our projects including, text stamps, small floral stamps (open design), background stamp (open design), and a bunch of flowers.
-
Embossing Powder You will need at least 4 colors of embossing powder to complete all the embossed elements, a white or clear, 2 colors and a black or gold.
-
Ribbon Scraps Just use whatever scraps of white, cream or pale ribbon you have on hand.
-
Printed Paper Scraps We'll just use whatever scraps of colored or printed paper you have.
-
Post-It Note You will need a few small Post-It notes - any color you like.
-
Tim Holtz Mini Ink Blending Tool We'll be using this great little tool to quickly add color to some of our items.
-
Double Sided Tape If you'd like to create a finished card then this will be essential!
-
Double Sided Foam Tape This stuff is magic for creating a 3D look and add height to your project.
-
White Paper Flowers Any brand and any size will do, white paper flowers should be an essential part of your supply stash.
-
Paint Brush or Waterbrush Any paint brush or water brush will do just fine! I like a water brush with a detail tip to add color to both stamped images and embellishments.
-
Bling You might like to use glitter, glitter glue, sparkly sequins, crystal embellishments, gold foil, you name it - bling is always a good idea!
