Document 2015 | April - Aly Dosdall

As we all know, life is busy, so finding time to scrapbook can be tough. Luckily, Aly Dosdall is here to help! In Document 2015, Aly provides new ideas each month for layouts, organization, and more to make memory-keeping easy. At the end of the year, each student will come away with an entire album documenting their story in 2015. In this fourth installment for the month of April, you’ll discover an original month-in-review layout, two new sketches, a video, step-by-step instructions and photos, and tips to help you record this month in an authentic, creative, and fun way. Aly will also show how to save time by creating your own photo collage and will provide you with simple ways to create paper banner flags to attach to your layout.

Product Playground | Rubons & Ribbons with Jennifer Gallacher

Join Jen Gallacher in Product Playground, a year-long class that offers a monthly video and step-by-step instructions highlighting your favorite products. Sometimes, in the midst of recording our memories, we get a little lost and overwhelmed with all the papers, stickers, embellishments, and tools we've collected over the years. In this lesson, Jen shares a total of nine unique ways to incorporate various elements to make your next layout stand out! You’ll explore different ways to use various sizes, types, and styles of ribbon, lace, or tulle within a layout. Jen will also demonstrate different techniques to use when working with rub-ons so that you can achieve exactly the look you want.

5 Minute Stories with Monica McNeill

Have you ever been so busy taking pictures of your life that you realized you weren’t actually living your life? In this class, Monica McNeill (professional photographer and working mom), shares three methods of storytelling that allow you to document your life while still enjoying it. She’ll also reveal different approaches to photography that have helped her to be more purposeful when she picks up her camera. Each lesson covers a different method (such as the “90-second challenge”) that teaches you to how to think more deliberately about documenting your family’s life. Monica’s tips will help you become more efficient in your “memory catching” time so that you’re still satisfied when it’s time to put down the camera.

Made with Love | Mother's Day with Maggie Massey

Ask any mother, and she’ll probably tell you that the best kind of gifts are those from the heart. Join Maggie Massey as she demonstrates how to use stamps, watercolor, fabric, and other items to create cards, gift packaging, and more. In this class, Maggie uses watercolor, stamps, and letterpress to create beautiful cards that say more by themselves than words ever could. You’ll then learn how to make a simple gift bag in which to package your gifts. Maggie also includes downloadable alphabet art (plus two bonus files!) that can be personalized, printed out, framed, and displayed as unique décor for any season.
