Hi!
This is Lisa for Big Picture Scrapbooking. I have some questions
for you. Do you have as much energy as you want to have?
Are you as fit as you want to be? Are you living to your
fullest potential? If you answered no to any of these questions,
then listen on. If you are ready for an amazing adventure
towards living a healthier and more authentic life, then
this class is for you.
Let's
face it: there are no magic pills to weight loss, at least
none that are long-term and safe. Real fitness and weight
maintenance take a bit of work and determination and it
is TOTALLY within your reach.
You
are much stronger than you give yourself credit for and
what you have been lacking in the past is a realistic plan
that incorporates more than just food or more than just
exercise. A plan that gives you all of that and more. One
that gives you choices and also one that doesn't eliminate
entire food groups. Hello, carbohydrates; here I come. A
plan that inspires you to get moving and helps you confront
challenges when they arise. Because everyone is faced with
challenges and the challenge of balance. And one that shows
you strategies that will help you keep this lifestyle change
going for the long-term. Because that's what it's all about.
My intention
with this class is to encourage you to embark on a wellness
journey and to show you how I have incorporated the different
aspects of wellness into my life and how I've made it work
for me.
Just
like you, some days feel sublime and others feel downright
impossible. It is a balancing act. Which means that sometimes
the scales tip in favor of work, sometimes it tips towards
family, when someone has a cold or worse, all else needs
to slow down and the scales tip towards focusing on health,
and sometimes all things seem wonderfully balanced one moment
only to careen out of control moments later (those of you
will small children that have tantrums will know this all
to well. And having two small kids under the age of 6, well,
this happens frequently). But it's in the reaction to the
situation that makes all the difference. I'll share various
ways to react when you are faced with challenges so that
you can keep moving forward in your quest for wellness and
balance. And then there will be times when you will need
to take a break. And that's okay too. I do it myself and
I find that those times of rest and restoration are truly
what gets me back on track and gives me more energy to keep
moving forward. Because this is for the long haul. I'm in
this for the long haul. I want to see my children's children
and to be able to play with them and play football in the
yard. We will become more comfortable with our bodies and
knowing when we can push on a little further and when it's
time to back off and truly rest and restore.
This
class is going to help to give you the tools that you need
to make permanent positive changes in your life. Ones that
can only improve and enhance your lifestyle. Because don't
we want to really live to our fullest potential and be the
best that we can be so that we have the vitality to engage
in the activities that we really want to do and the energy
to enjoy the things in life that truly matter.
You
will have my support and as a class we will form a friendship
circle of supportive and creative women around the world
that will cheer each on through our victories and help each
other through our challenges. But we will keep going in
search of a health and authentic life
together.
