Adventures
in Scrapbooking:
Use Your Stash
I
bet you have a large stash of scrapbooking
supplies sitting around. Regardless of
style or level of experience, this is
one thing that all scrapbookers seem to
have in common. In this new adventure
with instructor May
Flaum, you will brave the wilds of
your supplies, unleashing its creative
potential, all while getting your memories
scrapbooked.
May
Flaum is a veteran Big Picture teacher
and long time crafter. She is a co-author
of Paper
+ Pixels: Scrapbook Layouts, has been
published in numerous idea books and magazines,
and has taught scrapbooking classes for
years. May is a self-proclaimed collector
of scrapbook supplies, but she's also
determined to keep things moving through
her studio rather than sitting and collecting
dust. She believes in keeping things fun
and creating with a smile on her face.
This
class is a challenge, a joy and an adventure
all rolled into one.
Together we'll find creative bliss in
each piece of paper and chipboard.

encouraging presentations, information
packed handouts, and plenty of scrapbook

and motivation you need to get you
using your stash!
More
Information
The
purpose of this class is to help
you be more productive in your
scrapbooking while enjoying the
creative process. There will be
a new handout posted each Thursday,
with helpful tips and ideas for
using older and excess products,
as well as several 12" x
12" layouts based on weekly
prompts. A wide variety of supplies
and techniques will be used.
To
create a more flexible and friendly
environment, May encourages her
students to view her layouts as
inspiration and starting points,
rather than mandatory assignments
that must be completed.
If
you're not familiar with her style,
get to know May at her
blog.
