A
Life Well Crafted
Audio Transcript
Kolette Hall
(Kolette) Who is ready for a year of crafternoons? This
is Kolette Hall (and I'm Jason Hall) and we want you to
join us for "A Life Well Crafted" in 2009. We
are really excited about this new opportunity and have
been planning and looking forward to it for months.
So,
what will you get if you decide to join us? Here are just
a few of the things we have in store for you: we will
share lessons that we have learned about various life
principles through interactive audio files and slide presentations,
we have meaningful projects and layouts that relate to
each principle that you'll get color instructions for.
As always, you'll get lots of exclusive downloads designed
by me especially for you. We'll offer live chats each
month and a whole list of other exciting things. That's
why Kayce created the chart on the workshop registration
page - so we can all see exactly what fabulous things
will be offered every week during the year.
Now,
this workshop is different than any other Big Picture
Scrapbooking experience that you have ever had. First
of all, Jason will be joining me all along the way during
the audio messages, the message board and the monthly
chats. (Jason: Which, that can only be good for everyone!)
Exactly.
Second
of all, for those of you who have taken "The Art
of Choosing Joy" or "The Art of Becoming More,"
you know that the audio portion of our workshops are the
foundation for the whole experience (Jason: And include
my winning sense of humor!). That, too! This year-long
workshop will be no different except for one thing - for
the first time, BPS is offering an Audio-Only version
of this workshop! We know that a lot of you want to share
your experience with others that may not be as into scrapbooking
as you are - this Audio-Only version is for them! It could
be your mom or your friend, your spouse or your child.
Whoever you think would be enriched by listening to the
monthly audios, receiving the downloadable quotes and
participating in the message board is welcome to be a
part of this experience (Jason: A husband would be a perfect
choice. Not a big scrapbooker myself!) So take a look
at all the great stuff that the "Audio-Only"
people will get each week throughout the year and then
spread the word! Everyone is welcome.
(Jason)
Everyone. And we want everyone to have the opportunity
to be a part of this class and not have to miss out because
of the price. We're feeling the pinch at the pump like
everyone else. Last week it cost me $90
$90 to fill
up my handicap-accessible van. It makes me sick just to
say it! We wanted this to be an experience that everyone
could both have and afford so, here's the deal. The price
of the year long class is less than two tanks of gas in
my van. Now, later you're going to have the option to
do a month-to-month pay plan. That's going to cost you
20% more. In times like these everyone's looking for ways
to save some money and if you sign up for the year long
class, you save 20% right off the bat. We feel like this
is not only a good deal for you but a good deal for your
life.
(Kolette)
Now, some of you may be wondering if you can commit to
a whole year. I want you to know that we have thought
long and hard about the structure of this workshop and
have designed it so that you will have plenty of inspiration
each week of the year but at the same time, there is time
to get things done or take a breather, too. I don't like
feeling behind all of the time so we planned for you to
have some wiggle room along the way with some less-intense
weeks each month. This will allow you to work at your
own pace better but still have something new to look forward
to receiving every single week of the year.
(Jason)
Now you may be wondering why I'm involved in the workshop
at all. Other than my winning sense of humor, we're both
teachers. Kolette's the designer and scrapbooker and has
the masters degree in education and I'm a professional
speaker and corporate trainer.
At
fifteen years old I was in a diving accident causing me
to become a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the chest down.
Kolette and I met at Brigham Young University, I was the
student body president of the nation's largest private
university. And afterwards I went to work at an insurance
and investment firm. On my way to see a client my front-left
tire blew and sent me across all the lanes of traffic
and put me in the hospital for 13 months. We've had over
10 years of in and out of hospitals and over 30 surgeries.
Since
then I have become a motivational speaker for corporations
and groups around the world. Through the years, Kolette
and I have learned a lot about life and being happy in
spite of our circumstances. We've also learned that we
are good as individuals but we are even better as a team.
That's why we've decided to approach this year long workshop
together - we'll give you both of our perspectives as
we talk about the things we have learned and experienced
in our lives. Then Kolette will handle the crafty stuff
- she's a crafty one, that Kolette!
(Kolette)
That's right. We have had great reviews when we approach
Big Picture as a team so we thought, why not do it for
a whole year! This is a primary reason why the Audio-Only
version of this workshop will be a great thing for anyone
in your life to be a part of - you'll be getting both
the masculine (Jason: That's me!) and the feminine (Jason:
That's her!) perspective of each message so it will be
more universal to those who are important to you. And
let's face it, Jason does this for a living - what could
be more expert than that?
(Jason)
So, join us.
(Kolette)
Share 2009 with us as we motivate and learn from each
other while we create "A Life Well Crafted."
It's the ultimate crafting project - YOU! Take a look
at the chart that Kayce has created for you outlining
what you get in both the Full Version and the Audio-Only
Version and decide which is right for you.
(Together)
We can't wait to see you in class!
