Hey! It's Lisa Damrosch with Big Picture Scrapbooking. Thank you so much for clicking to hear more about Product Playground 2 - The Albums. I am so excited about this workshop. When I was putting together the Product Playground 2 workshop for Big Picture Scrapbooking and I had all of those six categories out in front of me, I was really inspired to create albums with them. So I did and I decided to make a spin-off Product Playground 2 - The Albums so that together we can make these six very different albums. I have to tell you, I LOVE mini albums. I do. LOVE them. I think the main reason why is it is really a sense of accomplishment for me to finish a mini album. I have this nice beautiful little package with a front, a middle, and an end. I can hold it in my hands and there is that story and there is that design and I can enjoy it right away. I'm kind of an instant gratification girl sometimes, you know? I like mini albums for that. I like that I can put them all around my house. I can have them in baskets. I can have them on an easel. I can just see them all around my home and that I can tell a story in one little space. That is what we are going to do in this class. What is really cool about mini albums is it is another great way to try new things without a really big commitment. Not that there are any real big commitments in scrapbooking - let's be honest - but I love that I can just throw myself into a theme or into a color scheme or into a design idea and just follow it all the way through one album. That is something that we are going to work a lot on in this class, making sure that our albums are cohesive all the way through and we are going to do a lot of mixing and matching. Each week the product category of the week is going to be the focus of the album. That is going to be the main component of the album design. Not the topic, but the album design. All of the other supplies that we have gathered and we have in our stash are going to be supporting players. It's going to be kind of major mixing and matching. So using those same six things, we are going to get six totally different albums by putting a different category as the shining star of the whole thing. I hope that makes sense.
