Hi there!! I'm Claudine Hellmuth, and I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part of Big Picture Scrapbooking's Experts series for 2010!

Each week you'll come into my studio with me and I'll share with you new techniques and materials. The techniques will build on each other into projects so you can see first hand how to apply them to your scrapbooking, journaling, altered books or collages. You will leave the class with your head bursting with ideas. I promise!

If you have never collaged or painted before, then this is the class for you! If you are ready to get your hands a little dirty, experiment with some new tools, a little trial and error, then you'll have a ball! Even if you have been working with paint for a long time, like I have, there'll be lots of techniques that are new to you!

This class isn't just about paint! We'll be working with scrapbook papers, and photos in new ways. I'll share image transfer techniques with you, which are so much fun, they are like magic!

In case you're not familiar with me I'm an artist, author and illustrator, I graduated from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in 1997 with a BFA in painting. I have been working full time as an artist since 2001, teaching workshops, writing books creating custom artworks and also working in illustration. I have a product line with Ranger of paints and mediums that I am so excited to share with you!
