Hi
everyone! Tena Sprenger here, and I have some really good
news. I get to teach summer school again at Big Picture
Scrapbooking - and it's the good kind of summer school!
I'm teaching 52 Card Pick Up again, and I'm so excited.
This is going to be really fun.
For
those of you who aren't familiar with 52 Card Pick Up,
it's a great class for anyone interested in learning a
lot of fun techniques without a lot of stress, and really
sort of building up your technique how-to inventory.
The
way the class works is we create a little card deck that
hangs on a 3-inch hinge ring, and for 11 weeks, Monday
through Friday, you get a fun creativity jump start e-mail
from me in the morning that shares a mini handout on how
to create a technique. It shows you my example of the
technique, and gives you a supply list, which are usually
things you have pretty readily available on hand, and
shows you how to create the technique. So, every week,
Monday through Friday, you get to try out a new technique
and create a mini project. Doesn't that sound like fun?
And it's super doable. Most of the projects that we do
you can do in an hour or an hour and a half at most. If
you're super busy that day, save them up and do them on
the weekend. If you go on vacation, no sweat! Catch up
on them when you come home. It's a non-stressful, super
fun way to recharge your creative batteries over the summer
and build up a reference card deck that you can hang on
your scrapbooking bulletin board and refer to year-round.
Students from previous classes have e-mailed me many times
and said, "I just love my 52 Card Pick Up deck. It's
always on my scrapbook bag, it's always on my bulletin
board. I pop it out, and when I can't remember how to
do one of the techniques we learned, I look on the back
of my tag and I've got the instructions."
So,
if you are looking for a class with a lot of inspiration,
a lot of great camaraderie and a lot of technique, please
come join me this summer. It's going to be super fun -
52 Card Pick Up coming soon to Big Picture Scrapbooking.
I would love to have you in class. This is Tena Sprenger
signing off.
