Hey everyone, this is Lisa Day and I'm back with a second round of 28 Days of Sketches!

I am so excited about this next round of my sketches class! I have some awesome changes that I've made to the class this time.

First change is that I have seven fabulous guest designers joining me which means you will not only get 28 exclusive layouts from me but you'll also get 28 more layouts and cards from these guest designers. The guest designers I have gathered for this class are amazing. They are Jenni Hufford, Sasha Farina, Jaime Warren, Kimberly Neddo, Michelle Wooderson, Lynn Ghahary and Virginia Tillery.

Not only do I have these fabulous designers joining me in the class but I've also tripled the sketches you will get. I have 28 brand new 12" x 12" sketches that I have also converted into double page sketches and 8 1/2" x 11" pages.

And if that hasn't convinced you that this class is going to be awesome let me give you a little bit of background into why I started using sketches.

When I first started scrapbooking many years ago I was overwhelmed with staring at a blank sheet of cardstock and having no idea what to do with it. After many nights of pulling my hair out and not being totally satisfied with anything I was creating I discovered sketches and it was as if a whole new world opened up to me.

Through the use of sketches I was able to quickly create beautiful layouts I was happy with. Sketches freed my energy to be able to focus on the fun stuff of creating my pages, like playing with products, colors, techniques and telling my stories. When I first started out using sketches I would copy them exactly as they were. As I became more comfortable with creating layouts I learned how to take a sketch and use bits and pieces to create layouts that work for me.

Now even though I've been scrapbooking for a very long time and I'm on design teams and teaching scrapbooking I still turn to sketches when I'm in need of some inspiration or when I find my pages starting to look the same. I've learned a lot about my style and what I like and don't like through the use of sketches. I've also learned that when I start out with a sketch for my page I can create beautiful pages a lot quicker and easier! What's not to love about that?
