Theme
and Theme Again
Are
you running out of ideas for scrapbooking those beautiful
seasonal photos that you take year after year? Do you wish
that you could capture those memories in a deeper way than
the typical who, where, and when? In Theme and Theme
Again, you'll create four thematic layouts based on
back to school, the pumpkin patch, Thanksgiving and Christmas
with creative ideas to go beyond the obvious and bring out
the hidden thoughts of the heart. You'll be given journaling
prompts, and suggestions to add artistic expression to your
layouts through the use of symbolism. Learn how to let your
photos and your memories be your inspiration!

NOTE
FROM DORIS: I have always enjoyed photos
and the stories they tell. As a child, one of my favorite
pastimes was sifting through my mother's collection
of old photographs and wondering what the people in
them would tell me if they could speak. I love that
scrapbooking allows me to share my stories and thoughts
with my son, family, friends and future generations.
I would describe my scrapbooking style as structured
freestyle: a hodgepodge of fun with a solid foundation.

self-paced class, Doris provides detailed instructions for
creating four seasonal layouts. Along the way, she will
also give you numerous tips for digging deeper so that you
can make an emotional connection in both your journaling
and the creative process. If time and time again you find

information about Self-Paced Projects at Big Picture
Classes!
Self-Paced Projects are instant download classes that
allow you to participate at BPC anytime! These classes
are different from our interactive workshops. There
are no starting or ending dates -- you may enroll at
any time. This flexibility also means, that there will
not be the level of teacher and student interaction
that we enjoy in our workshops. You will receive handouts
to print and an audio file to listen to, but there are
typically no message boards or chats.
