Tammy Tutterow is a lifelong artist and crafter. She grew up in a home full of arts and crafts supplies with very creative parents. She loves all types of crafts but finds her true crafting passion in papercrafts, ribbonwork, and sewing. She loves to combine elements of all three into her projects.
Tammy has been an instructor and project designer in the papercraft/scrapbook industry since 2005. She has worked for many top manufacturers including: Sizzix, Tim Holtz, Ranger Ink, BasicGrey, Pink Paislee, and Xyron. Tammy's projects have been published in several books, magazines, and product catalogs and have been featured on television. Tammy loves to teach technique based classes at stores, conventions, and online. She is an active blogger, blogging on both her blog and on the Sizzix blog. Tammy currently works as the Design Team and Community Manager for Sizzix.
When creating, Tammy is a wife and mother of three who loves anything and everything shabby, chippy, and vintage. She loves to scour flea markets for old treasures and is a fair weather gardener so if the spring breezes are blowing, you will probably find her playing in the dirt in her flower garden.

Who are you? Just me. Just a girl still. Just a person trying to find her way each day, hoping, dreaming, and escaping a little through art.
Who has inspired you, personally or professionally, to be who you are? I think we take a little of something from each person we meet along the way. I think they all influence us in one way or another.
What do you believe with all of your heart? That being able to make something from bits of paper, stamps, and pads of ink completes me.
What do you teach, write, blog, and talk incessantly about? Creating. It doesn't really matter if it is with stamps, inks, or paper. What I am creating with doesn't really matter; it is about the time spent being lost in creating.
When did you get your start? I was born to creative parents and can't remember ever not having supplies to draw and create with. I can't remember ever not thinking "I can make that!"
When did you know that this was your path? For the longest time I wanted my future to be in words and illustration. The dream got lost along the way and I took on a career that paid the bills. Creative time balanced out the chaos the job brought to my life. I never lost sight of the dream though that I could be an artist or author. I think that is why I turned to blogging because it filled the need to share and write about something I loved. Happily, that innocent exercise led me to a career as a full time designer, artist, and teacher. I am thankful every day for that.
Where is your favorite place on earth? My little yellow bungalow.
Where do you go to be inspired? I love to read quotes and let them inspire me. I find tons that I love on Pinterest!
Why are you here at BPC? I LOVE online teaching and connecting with people who love what I love. When I think of online classrooms, BPC is the gold standard. I am always beyond excited for opportunities to be a part of their team!
Why do you love your life? Because I am blessed. I have a good life. I have a loving husband and three beautiful children. We are healthy. We aren't rich, but we have enough. We have a comfortable and easy life.
How do you do everything you do? Lists. To-do list with checklists keep me sane. I thrive on routine and organization.
How can we learn more about you? On my website, www.tammytutterow.com. My social media links can be found there—I am most active on Facebook and Pinterest.
Home. There is no sweeter place in the world that I know.
I created this tag one day when I was reflecting on my life and where I felt I was at age 43. I love the colors and mix of textures and the phrases I used to portray strength.
