I love scrapbooking and card making.  I'm scrapbooking an album for each of my grandsons. I'm not a photographer.  Oh, I have thousands of pictures of family, vacations and scenery, but after scrapbooking for 8 years, I wanted to learn better ways to use my camera.   I decided to try Picture Winter. I loved it so much and learned so many things that I'm back again for Picture Inspiration and will be participating in Picture Spring.  I only have a point and shoot camera and no photoshop.  I do have Picasa, but there's not a lot of photo editing you can do with that, so my shots are mostly staight out of the camera.  But even so, I'm learning so much.  Everyone's pictures are so incredible and inspiring!!   I now see things so differently every day.
