I got my first camera when I was in 6th grade and I haven't stopped taking pictures since! My cameras have never been anything fancy - I'm strictly a "point and shoot" kind of gal. But taking "Picture Spring" and "Picture Fall" have really helped me learn to take better photos. I love the Gallery and the Feedback from everyone!!!

My goal is to have the pictures tell the story. I love taking photos of the everyday moments of my husband and children and our busy, goofy, fun life! I also love getting "close" to nature with my macro setting - sometimes an ordinary leaf can look really amazing up close! I am a scrapbooker, but of course I take more photos than I could ever have time to scrap (don't we all?). My scrapbooking style is very photo-centric - I try to fit as many as I can on the pages! Add a little journaling and a few embellishments and call it done! After all, a picture is worth a thousand words...
