About Me...
I started scrapbooking after my Mother died, when my sister-in-law handed me a 3 foot by 2 foot by 3 foot box of my Mother's photo albums and said "Here, YOU can take care of this!" Her tone said that there was no option to say anything other than "OK". Mother had lots of heritage pictures from the late 1800's and early 1900's. Unfortunately, she had never heard of any archival techniques and everything was in magnetic albums that had lost their "stick-um" and were taped together with celophane and scotch tape. It was a daunting task that never has been completed, but it did take me to the wonderful world of scrapbooking. And that sister-in-law?? She and I are now dearest friends and scrapbooking buddies who love to travel. It has all been a fun journey and I am glad to report that my children will not have to go through a huge box of their Mom's disintegrating albums.
