Spring
30 days of soulful seasonal
celebration
Picture
Spring is a 30-day guided e-class that will
encourage and inspire you to use photography
to celebrate the season of new beginnings while
honoring and nourishing your creative spirit.
With a new email and fresh perspective in your
inbox each morning, you'll use the daily photo
prompt to help open your mind and guide your
lens to see and capture your life and the world
around you. Whether you are an expert photographer,
or just starting out, this project will help
you see things in a completely new light.
By
focusing on the beauty that surrounds you
even amidst the dishes and laundry, deadlines
and demands your outlook will shift and
change. Your photographs will become an extension
of who you are and how you see the world as
you discover your true inner photographer. Your
camera will not only become a valuable tool
and trusted companion, but a reminder to slow
down, appreciate your life and take pride and
joy in your creativity.
Because
photography offers instant gratification
with only a single click to capture an image
it's the perfect artistic medium for
a sustainable daily project. The goal with
Picture Spring however, is to not only prompt
you into taking a photo each day, it's to help
elevate that click into a mindful meditation,
an act of gratitude, a narrative of your heart.
This will ensure that each picture you create
will be its own piece of art a treasure
in itself. Nothing else required. No end result
to work toward; just your own unique vision
personified in a photograph. For these 30 days,
that alone is enough.
"Art
enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves
at the same time."
Thomas Merton
Amidst
the journey of Picture Spring, it is
my hope that you will let yourself get lost
in the pure joy and satisfaction of expressing
yourself photographically. And I'm pretty sure
that along the way, you will find your authentic,
creative, amazing self in the process.
