Inspiration Defined

Just what is inspiration defined?

  1. The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative. The quality of having been so stimulated, especially when evident in something. A sudden brilliant, creative, or timely idea.
  2. A workshop by Elizabeth Dillow which will renew your creative spirit and leave you feeling passionate and inspired about scrapbooking.
Elizabeth's four week workshop will guide you through the process of gathering, organizing, and using inspiration found in both ordinary and uncommon places, and will challenge you to think in new ways about color, design, and concept as it translates to the scrapbook page. She believes that inspired scrapbooking equals sustainable scrapbooking—and wants you to be scrapbooking (and loving it) for the next fifty years or more!

Elizabeth is an avid inspiration seeker and scrapbooker, Big Picture Classes featured teacher, author of The Scrapbooker's Almanac, and co-founder of Write. Click. Scrapbook., a collective of truly inspired scrapbookers. She teaches photography workshops locally, writes on her blog as much as possible, and feels giddy when her monthly issue of How Magazine arrives in the mail. She has approximately fifty-seven ideas percolating at any given time, making it difficult to go to bed on time.

At the conclusion of Elizabeth's workshop, you too, will experience feelings of excitement as you turn colors of paint, patterns of mittens, children's books, graphic design annuals, music and more into extraordinary ideas for scrapbook pages. No longer will you experience that sinking feeling of paralysis when you look at a blank sheet of cardstock, because you'll have a tangible and mental catalog of brilliant ideas at your fingertips and recall. Simply put, you'll be one inspired scrapbooker.
