Olaig/GailO, to apply texture in Picasa I simply use the collage feature. I choose the two images, then in the collage settings I select multiple exposure, which superimposes one picture over the other. Once I create the collage I sometimes have to adjust the shadows and fine tune a bit, but this works very well for me. I hope that answers your question. Deb
