I swore I would never go digital, but when I got this little camera for Christmas, I was hooked.

I tell you, reading all the posts, seeing how photography has been a part of all your lives for so long and the meaning it has for all of you is humbling to me. I am an infant among you and I love being in your company.

Nice one....would be a great Canon ad! I always carry my Canon point and shoot with me, so perfect to fit in my purse, takes great photo's and ready to capture some wonderful unexpected delight.... so I don't have to be mumbling "oh I wish I had brought my camera"!

Love the power shot! I agree with Deborah. There are days I miss carrying the smaller camera. It really did take good shots! Just like this one. Love the angle and the word art.

I sold my Canon Powershot to a dear friend, taught her how to use it, and love seeing how much fun she is having. But I miss it! Love my DSLR, but there are times when I'd love to have the smaller one to carry around. These take great photos.

I love this shot with the white background...I agree, too, that it would make a good ad!!!

I was the same way, Maria. There was a guy at the camera store that I went to that called me after he went to a photo expo in Las Vegas. He said, "I think they finally made a digital that you will approve of. I'm holding it for you." I told him that it wasn't necessary because I wouldn't want it. I came home that day with the Canon 10d - June 2003. Love how we look back at our history with cameras. I just love the way you shot this. The angle, the white and your words are just wonderful!

Yeah, I think a lot of us film girls swore they would never go digital. My husband was always wanting to buy me one and I said, "When they make one that will take the kind of photos I can get with my film camera, then maybe." And he bought me one anyway -- a Minolta that wasn't even an SLR. I hated it and sold it on Ebay. But, alas, when I got my first Canon Rebel, it was love at first click. And the rest is history! Love how you shot this at an angle and the white background is perfect!
