The texture of each petal and all that pollen has really been emphasized in black and white though...This is gorgeous!

I'm right there with you, Barb! It's really hard to take color out of gorgeous flowers but this one is a beauty in B&W.

I used to feel the same way until I saw a whole show on black and white flowers - really helps you see the details that you might otherwise miss seeing it in color.

I agree with you about removing the color from flowers. Hard for me too, but I think the texture in this one is much more evident in b&w. Nice job!
