day 30 - glimmer of hope
day 30 - glimmer of hope
Lots of things already blooming here but this is what I look forward to the most. Tulips aren't supposed to to grow here but they do. We put them in pots in our garden in November. By February we have tulips. As they start to bloom, I move the pots onto the patio where I can enjoy them every day. The violets that surround them here started to bloom this week. You can see a fallen yellow rose petal.

Lovely. I wish I had planted bulbs last fall. Looks like you will have quite a few tulips.

What a great idea to plant tulip bulbs in pots! Looks like you're going to have quite a crop and surrounded by violets -- sigh!

I love all the lush green in this photo. Violets are my favorite flower and I do see their beautiful dark green leaves. And tulips already. Lovely.
