I scrapbook to get the stories written down, with or without photos, so that I will be able to remember the little and the big things. I know there were 5 of us kids, and what seems so utterly important to you as a kid, is a single drop in a huge 5 gallon bucket of memories for Mom - but it makes me sad when we ask her “Mom, do you remember when?” - and she doesn’t remember. She just had so much more going on that the little things that we remember - just weren’t memorable events for her. I want to continue to create something that I can look back at that will help me to be able to say “I remember when”. Maybe that is silly, but it is important to me… now - who did you say you are? LOL The pages are some of the memory pages Carla & I have made for Mom. The binders are my new this year (2011) sorting and organizing venture for my scrapped pages. TFL!
