Charlie and I went to Basssetfest - the gathering of literally hundreds of basset hounds from IL, WI, and MN, with the goal of fundraising for Basset Buddies Rescue (BBR). Charlie is our 6th basset hound and the 3rd one we have adopted through BBR. It was a beautiful day to wander through the fenced Muskego park site, sniff at other bassets, play the hot dog catch game, see old friends (his foster mom), hold basset puppies, and just enjoy the day, while adding to the BBR coffers to give other basset hounds a chance to be adopted into a forever home.
