To keep the snow from falling on the bridge and damaging the wooden road.
Very logical but I didn't know that until I read up on it online. It snows a lot in Vermont sometimes it is to keep the rain off too. The roof is part of the design inside as well. There is a lot of history to some of the bridges and how they are made.

Yes all digital. I have already done most of the pages. Some I did manually.
But I have recently acquired PSE and am combining it with Scrapbok Maxi and it works great for the journaling. I haven't figured it all out yet but I like the templates a bit tricky until you have done it a few times. My hubby has been away and You guessed it I got sick the only week I have had to do stuff since my surgery in December.
