The metal shape is the fan. This tower was built for me by my son. He wanted to make sure I had one that would take on all the photos I store along with a Lg back up external hard drive so I will never lose any Photos again

That is actually beautiful there. I could photograph that piece upfront all day, I think. I would want to take it out though, and should probably leave it where it is. :)
