Load Day 5
I don't have a lot of rules, but I don't ever turn and scrap an 81/2x11 horizontally. So I started by doing that. The picture I scrapped is also breaking a rule in a way. Since my father passed away 2 years ago, I haven't been able to scrap any of the pictures that I took when he first got sick. So I guess you can say I broke that silent rule and tried to scrap one of the pictures in a fun way. It took me a REALLY long time to do this page. Not overly pleased with it, but I am calling it done and moving on.

I'm so happy you posted this and the story behind it - my mom died in January and I haven't scrapped a pic with her in it since then. Guess I'm not ready. But now I know what I have to look forward to when I am ready - lovely LO and great photo!

I bet at the end of the LOAD you'll look at it and love it just because you scrapped the photo. I like it - it''s really clean and simple, but also embellished in a fun way that makes it seem positive.

Love the photo with all the phones...so typical today. It must have been a difficult time for you but good for you that you were able to see the humor in this situation...great layout!
