Wow! You did a do-over of a paper scrapped layout - now that's commitment to good design =) I love the blue and I like your photo choices in the bottom layout, too!

That's quite a do over... I think the blue layout is a lot 'cleaner' with better focus on the pictures. And you still have some nice elements; the orange touches in title and embellishments, the reverse type in the Whitechapel picture and the white mat.
