How
can I make sure I get a seat in the live Hawaiian event?
Set an alarm on your phone, computer, or actual alarm clock
(does anyone use those anymore?) for 2:12 p.m. PST and be
one of the first 24 people to complete your purchase. We expect
the 24 spots to go quickly (perhaps by 2:13 p.m.), so plan
ahead and be prepared with your payment method. Here's a link
to a time-zone
converter so you know exactly what time that is where
you live.
Does
the registration fee include airfare?
Guests are responsible for all of their own travel arrangements.
Plan to arrive at the resort by Tuesday, December 11, 2012.

What
if I want to register with a friend?
Take advantage of our special offer! Come with a scrapbooking
friend and share your one-bedroom suite, and you'll each save
$100 off the registration price! Note: The full $2,400
purchase must be made with a single payment method, and a
$200 refund will be made back to the original payment method

If
I register with a friend, can we each pay separately?
No. The full $2,400 must be made with a single payment method,
so coordinate with your friend before you register to decide
who will be making the purchase and who will be reimbursing.
Can
I bring friends or family who aren't registered for the event
and have them stay in my room?
Of course! It's your room, and you can invite anyone you'd
like to come stay with you. Just make sure they know not to
bother you from Tuesday evening through Thursday morning,
because you'll be busy!
Can
I extend my stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani?
Yes, you may extend your room reservation after the event
ends (but not before it begins) at a special reduced rate
and savings of up to 50 percent! Our 24 honored guests will
have the personal email address and phone number of our event
coordinator, who will provide all of the necessary details
for how to book additional nights at the Fairmont Kei Lani.
What
if I register for the event but then find I can't find affordable
airfare?
We recommend that you look into all details and make sure
you'll be able to arrange affordable travel before you register
for the event. No refunds will be offered. Only click the
Add to Cart button if you're sure of all of your arrangements.
What
if I book my flight and then find out I didn't get one of
the 24 available seats in this event?
Do not book your flight until you have a confirmation receipt
that your purchase went through and you are confirmed as one
of the first 24 people to register for the live portion of
this event. We will be unable to accommodate any additional
guests.
If
I'm not one of the first 24 people to register, can I still
book a room at the hotel and join in the event on my own?
This is an exclusive, intimate event with limited seating
availability. Only the first 24 people to register for this
event through the bigpictureclasses.com website will be admitted.
What
supplies do I need to bring?
Just the photos you want to include in your mini-album and
a basic
toolkit. No, "basic" does not include your entire
patterned paper collection and a suitcase full of stamps!
We're talking the true basics, like a portable trimmer, adhesive,
journaling pen, pencil, eraser, scissors, and ruler. All other
products and tools that you may need will be provided at the
event. A list of the specific kinds of photos you'll need
to gather and bring will also be provided.
Will
transportation be provided from the airport to the hotel?
Yes! Once you've got your registration confirmation, we'll
be contacting you to find out your airport arrival time, so
we can meet you, greet you, and give you a ride to the hotel!
You'll have the personal email and phone number of our event
coordinator, so you can contact her with questions about any
special circumstances.
Can
I stay somewhere other than the Fairmont?
Trust us, you won't want to! And in order to achieve the proper
amount of pampering and camaraderie for this exclusive luxury
event, we need everyone staying together at the same resort.
The other option is to enjoy this event
from home, via a live streaming feed.
What
if I live in Hawaii, can I just sign up, join you during the
day, and sleep at my own house?
First of all, if you live in Hawaii, we're jealous! Secondly,
we are really looking forward to pampering our 24 guests and
spending as much time with them as possible. The hotel accommodations
and meals are a key part of the experience, so if you're interested
in this event, plan on joining us at the Fairmont Kea Lani!
What
is your cancellation policy?
In the event that you need to cancellation your registration
for the 12/12/12 in Hawaii event, please keep the following
dates and deadlines in mind:
- Within
48 hours of registering, 100% refund.
- For
cancellations received after 48 hours of registering but
before midnight pacific time on October 15, we will gladly
refund all but $100 of your registration.
- For
cancellations received after October 15 and before midnight
pacific time on November 30, we will refund all but $400
of your registration.
- No
cancellations* after November 30.
*You may
also transfer your registration to another individual and
receive a full refund after payment is secured from the person
