Learn to Create Digital Layouts in a Collage Style
Do you love everything vintage? Come and learn to create digital pages, that don't look digital at all! Your digital layouts can look just like a fabulous bundle of vintage papers when you learn to leave aside your simple straight lines and classic white spaces and learn how to make full, relaxed, layered pages. You too can create beautiful pages to set off both your heritage family photos and your up-to-date digital images as well.
Digital pages don't have to look modern...
they can remind you of vintage postcard albums,
from years gone by.
In this class, you just might learn a new style and train of thought to use on your digital pages. Beginners will find detailed Photoshop and Elements instructions, and all students will find inspiration to create vintage, collaged layouts. In this class, you'll find that what's "new" can appear "old" with a few simple techniques.

A Note from Melanie:
I'm Melanie Grimes, and I work as a photographer and live in the middle of the south coast of Britain. I am a busy mother of four, gathering our life down on my digital scrapbook pages, and via iPhone notes. I like digital creating because I can really make it mine, so much more than I can with paper products. I like vintage too, and this class will show you how you can have a digital layout full of vintage flare. I'm a Creative Team member at Designer Digitals, and often write for their blog. I like to inspire, and enthuse fellow digi scrappers to try something out of their usual comfort zone and to create projects that they will always treasure. I've taken part in hosting challenges and crazy chats there too! You may have seen my digital work in Scrapbook Inspirations magazine, Scrapbook Inspirations Idea Books, and the UK's Scrapbook Magazine. are different from our interactive workshops. There
are no starting or ending dates -- you may enroll at
any time. This flexibility also means, that there will
not be the level of teacher and student interaction
that we enjoy in our workshops. You will receive handouts
to print and an audio file to listen to, but there are
typically no message boards or chats.
