Welcome
to the official Library of Memories community at Big Picture
Classes. I am so delighted you are here. This community classroom
is really more of a clubhouse and here's why:
- You can
come and go, as you like. Check in every day or every other
month.
- You will
have access to weekly challenges, but you will not be obligated
to do them!
Every Thursday, you'll get an email from me with a new LOM challenge.
Challenges will be posted in the classroom too.
- You will
be able to share the pages and projects you create (challenge
based or otherwise) in our galleries. Our galleries are set
up to mimic a collective set of Library Albums. If you would put
your finished page in your People We Love album at home,
then post it in our People We Love gallery here. If you've
made a personal adaptation to your set of library albums, then
you can post your pages in the adaptations gallery. We even have
a gallery where you can post pictures
of organizational projects and your creative space.
- You can
get help and continue to make progress. Regardless of where
you are in the process of setting up or maintaining your personal
LOM, you'll find people eager to reach out and help you. And before
you know it, you'll be posting your own ideas and solutions to
help others. Post your questions and solutions on one of our
Essentials or Extras forums and watch the magic of
community unfold.
- You can
connect with other LOM alumni and Photo Freedom enthusiasts. You've
likely met and mingled with people from around the world in your
Library of Memories session. Visit our Stay Connected
forums to find your fellow students, rekindle friendships, plan
in-person meet ups or simply chat about life.
My
work and teaching schedule won't allow me time to hang out here
all the time, but I'll stop by from time to time and we'll make
sure the community is monitored for the positive and supportive
environment you've come to expect from Big Picture Classes.
My ultimate goal is to help facilitate personal insights and encouragement,
so you can progress in your Library of Memories adventure
and sustain your passion and enthusiasm for telling personal stories
and scrapbooking your life.
