As I
was sifting through my cultural memorabilia box recently,
I came across this small satin tag that says "Wrinkle
Free." If my memory serves me right, it came attached
to one of Geoff's dress shirts. But the day I came across
it, it spoke to me because I had just snapped a close-up
photo of myself with no makeup whatsoever. This photo reveals
some serious wrinkles. Wrinkles I'm ok with because I have
earned them, but wrinkles nonetheless.

The
title, "I'm no longer wrinkle free and other things
I've recently realized" sprang from this little
piece of life that I tucked away in my cultural memorabilia
box. There are so many everyday "things" that
will trigger realizations and memories for us if we let
them.
I'm
excited for lesson 8 as I get to discuss the importance
of maintaining and even correcting a backlog or imbalance
in the flow of your photos. Understanding and setting up
processes around duplicates and leftover photos, and embracing
the concept of cold storage are essential to your success
in the age of digital photography.
You
can also choose to set up three additional extras: Square-punch
Picture Drawers, Family Tree Drawers and/or a Cultural Memorabilia
box (so that you can store and retrieve delightful memory
triggers too!).
You
are making such incredible progress! In fact, lesson 8 presents
the final instruction-based information in this session
of Library of Memories. In other words, once you've
digested this lesson, you know everything you need to know
to implement your own LOM. Implementation, of course is
an ongoing process, but you are in the driver's seat and
you are now licensed to drive!
Work
hard this week to wrap up assignments you're working on,
so that we can focus on SCRAPBOOKING and celebrating our
time together.
