About
Brandi Hennessy...
BPS: What do we need to know about you?
[BH]: I'm a writer, editor, singer, baker, cook, housekeeper,
scrapper
in other words: I'm a wife and mom! I have an
amazing, sensitive son, Tristan, who is 7 and a feisty sweet
little Madeline, who is 2! Neal and I have been married more
than 8 years.
BPS: What do you like about your friends?
[BH]: I love that my friends are located all over the world,
but are still close to my heart. We may go weeks without talking,
but I know they are always there for me. My mom has become
my best friend, and she is always there for advice, or just
to listen to all the silly details about my kids' latest antics.
BPS: Where do you hope to go?
[BH]: I hope to go back to Germany one day. As newlyweds my
husband and I (and Tristan) lived in Baumholder for 3 years.
I'd love to visit our old stomps: Trier, Koblenz, Bernkastel-Kues.
BPS: What do you need every day?
[BH]: I need kisses and squeezes from my kiddos, an encouraging
word from my husband, and a good cup of coffee (current addiction-24oz
Iced Vanilla Bean Americano with cream from the Daily Habit).
BPS: What's your favorite line?
[BH]: Well, there are a lot of different kinds of lines. My
favorite by Shakespeare: "Lovers to bed, 'tis almost
fairy time" (A Midsummer Night's Dream). To wait in:
Space Mountain at Disneyland. In a Movie: "And so the
lion fell in love with the lamb" (Edward in Twilight).
Laugh lines. From my 7 year old when asked what his having
a crush on a girl meant: "It means I like her. You know,
I spy on her and give her my pencils." From Madeline:"Watch
Elmo all night in mommy's bed!" Scrapbooking product
line: Amy Butler.
BPS: Where do you wish you could shop?
[BH]: I loved shopping in all the cute European marketplaces,
but honestly, I love shopping just about anywhere!
BPS: What do you believe in?
[BH]: I believe in Jesus. I believe that we all have the potential
of being great people and doing great things with our lives.
I believe that we all need to be loved and accepted by someone,
somewhere.
BPS: If you could take only one thing before you left
the planet, what would you take?
[BH]: I've always secretly (or not so secretly) wanted to
be an astronaut! If I were leaving the planet I would take
my laptop filled with pictures, downloaded books (including
the Bible, the Twilight series, the Mercy Thompson series,
and many others) movies and music. Is that cheating?
BPS: Why are you on the BPS team?
[BH]: I love the philosophy that drives everything at BPS!
Living my best life and taking notice of the small things
that make BIG memories is how I try to live my life; and to
be able to work for a company that promotes that idea is fabulous!
I received my degree in English Writing from Fresno Pacific
University and have always dreamed of being an Editor. I'm
so glad that I've found my home here at Big Picture Scrapbooking!
