I've been very inspired by our Colorful Summer classroom and hope you have been too. We've got some amazing teachers with cool layouts (which are a welcome relief in this HOT August)!
I won't choose a favorite....I must have a lot in common with our Mamie Coffey. Still, I've been finding myself drawn to a lot of aqua and its coolness. I'm especially liking aqua in combination with red, so I think that Lisa Cohen, Maelynn Cheung, and Talia Audenart have been great influences on me. I'm working on incorporating aqua into the red accessories I have in my kitchen (like my mixer).
If you find that you want to incorporate some of these fabulously inspiring color combinations into your home decor or your jewelry box, you need to check out a new favorite website of mine: Etsy. (Lisa Damrosch, I'm going to get you to explore this site!!) Etsy is an amazing marketplace for all things handmade. You can find cool paper products for your scrapbooks, cool jewelry, home decor, and just about anything that can be crafted by hand. PLUS, color aficiandos, there's this amazing feature that lets you search by color! Just click here and you'll see an array of colors to mouse over -- and when you find one you like, click and Etsy will find you items for sale that match! (And, yes, it's addictive -- LisaD figured that out when we were discussing it!)
