Welcome to the first of four pet photography challenge series,  brought to you me, Jolanda Boekhout  teacher of our Pet Photography class. Join us each Monday for a new photo challenge.

1. Intimacy (unawareness)
Animals can so beautifully blend into their own world. Capturing animals while they seem miles away in dreaming creates stillness in a shot. It is almost as if they pose for you.

On a walk in Bihac, Bosnia, this stray dog followed me all afternoon. While my friend was inside the bank to change some money he waited patiently. It gave me the chance to capture him unnoticed.

settings
Camera: Nikon D700, lens 50mm 1.8
Setting: f3.5 ,1/640, ISO 400

Challenge: find a ‘stolen’ moment of your pet and capture the silent beauty in his being.

Tip: try to make yourself ‘invisible’ by focusing your attention on anything but your pet and click when your pet settles down and thinks you’re not watching.

Learn more about the class and purchase it for the low cost of $8, read rest of description and register here at the Pet Photography class page. For more inspirepation stop by my website and say hi.

Personally I think it should go into the trash. Because I am sick of this. Especially when ceibtrleies and politicians go on about it. Good God, these are people who live in huge houses, has private jets and yachts, entourage of cars and they say the average citizen is to blame for their little global warming? It is all absurd especially if you truly look into it. Some of them know they lost and because of this now want to make it a crime to deny global warming. Look it up. It is all there. And it is all absurd. There is a reason why global warming enthusiasts never debate a real scientist but instead talk to people who either believe it or know nothing of Earth Science 101.
