I probably do a double spread for half of my layouts--depends on how much there is to say and how many pictures there are!

I love page sketches, I use them most of the time.
Posted By KTnestingspot  |  May 02, 2012 at 11:17 AM

I usually do double pages, I've only started to edit myself and try to confine my design to one side.

I use double page layouts for the big, photo heavy projects - wedding albums, mission albums. Sometimes you don't want to create a whole mini album and a double page spread is the perfect solution.

Love BPC - you can be creative and do the classes on your time

Two page spreads are great love the flow it creates and the layout possibilities.
Posted By Althea Fochs  |  May 02, 2012 at 08:05 AM

I have recently started doing more two page spreads, especially when I need room for lots of photos!
Posted By Sarah F.  |  May 02, 2012 at 07:35 AM

I probably start with a sketch 75% of the time , if not more often than that.
Posted By JoMama  |  May 02, 2012 at 06:29 AM

Lately I have been doing a lot of single pages but I really love the double spread. What a great way to capture an entire event or to show a passage of time.
Posted By JoMama  |  May 02, 2012 at 06:27 AM

I'd say I start with a sketch 50% of the time, because in the past I didn't use sketches, but now I use them almost exclusively, adapting them for what works for my pictures, products and story.

Most of my layouts are double page layouts. I just prefer the look of two pages that read as one page (plus I always have lots of pictures I want to include...)
Posted By Ruth G  |  May 02, 2012 at 06:01 AM

For me, it's usually 75% of the time.

I most often make double page layouts when I scrapbook - both digitally and with paper.

This is one class I'd love to take.

I make double page layouts whenever I have lots of photos or a great idea for a 2 page spread. Not as many as single page layouts but almost.
Posted By Dianne Ervin  |  May 02, 2012 at 03:01 AM

I make double page layouts half the time. Love them--you can put lots of pics on them!

I also create double page LOs about 50% of the time...maybe a little more than that. I take a LOT of pics, so I have lots of double LOs. :)
