If I had to create with ONE color for the rest of my life, I would pick red. Today I would pick red; yesterday it would have been green. Tomorrow it very well may be another colour…I'm not colour discriminatory. Ok, wait. Sometimes I leave purple' til last. Sorry, purple.

ONE of my best strategies for fueling my creativity is …making sure my house is clean. Clean house, clean mind. I know. This doesn't necessarily make sense.

About the Class:  Breathe. I need to step back and remember why I've made the choices I've made: like how one hug from my son can melt away any pain I feel inside; how my husband's hugs calm my soul; how doing art heals me and gives me peace.

That's exactly why I made The Book of Why. This little book holds all my whys. Next time I have a weak moment I can just walk over to my book and remember.

i think … every technical gadget is the coolest thing I have ever seen, right until the next technical gadget comes out.

i wonder … if other people talk to themselves throughout the day nearly as much as I do?

i wish … I had the same metabolism now as I did in my twenties – or my teens, for that matter.

i save … all of the spare buttons that come on my clothing, but not in one assigned space or anything, that would make way too much sense – I just shove them in my jewelry box, in drawers, in random containers around the house. I can’t throw out a perfectly good button, that’s just crazy talk.
