Linda J shares what her word would be, "I would use mindfulness as I truly need to be more mindful."

Robyn W, "each year for the last three i have made a canvas to go on my wall, one was live, another change, and focus is also a favourite, I still have a day or two to work out 2012's....will be thinking about it for the moment, really love Ali's UP though"

Join the One Little Word movement started by Ali Edwards, "In 2006, I began a tradition of choosing one word for myself each January - a word that I can focus on, meditate on, and reflect upon as I go about my daily life. My words have included play, peace, vitality, nurture, light, and story. These words have each become a part of my life in one way or another. They've been imbedded into who I am, and into who I'm becoming. They've been what I've needed (and didn't know I needed). They've helped me to breathe deeper, to see clearer, and to grow."

Read rest of description and register here and read on Ali's blog to see what her word is for 2012.

DarkWaterSong Posted on This looks worse than the time I forgot the bklniag powder to corn bread (it tasted like corn bread and chewed like a brick). I also substituted salt for sugar one time, so I know about baking disasters.Final funny cooking story when I was just learning to cook, my mom asked me to make a very simple family favorite for dinner. It is chicken breasts over uncooked rice with a bit of chicken broth and a can of cream of mushroom. Some veggies and 1/2 cup of white wine are also added. Well I could not find the white wine, so I went digging in the cupboards. I found this bottle labeled Dry White Wine so I added 1/2 cup. That 1/2 cup of Vermouth made the drunkest chicken ever!
