For extra fun, we included two of each W, plus a couple of H's!
Who are you? I am a mom to a beautiful girl. I am a wife to a wonderful man. I am happy helping others to live to their fullest potential. I am a believer of dreaming big. I am compassionate and caring. I am a lover of laughter; I love to laugh. I am creative and love planning new projects; finishing them is another story. I am a hard worker. I am not the best morning person. I am refueled by good music and road trips, preferably to the mountains or the beach. I am an accomplished tummy tickler. I am a seeker of light. I am a work in progress. I am a fan of good design and white space. I am inspired by vintage + modern. I am not super organized. I am supportive and encouraging. I am more introvert than extrovert. I am a moment capturer and memory keeper. I am happy and loving. I am enough. I am me and I am okay.
Who has inspired you to be who you are? There are so many to list! My parents and family. My husband and my daughter. Friends. Teachers here at BPC. The awesome scrapbooking community, especially on Instagram.
What do you believe with all of your heart? That everyone has a story to tell. That whatever I do to document our photos and memories is enough. That living life comes first.
What do you teach, write, blog, and talk incessantly about?
I share my journey and approach to memory keeping and making it work for me. I hope to inspire others to find ways to fit memory keeping in their life and to find a style that they love and that makes them happy.
When did you get your start? I have always loved photos and journals. I started scrapbooking with my sister in 1995, while I was in college. I took a break during grad school and then picked it up again after that; mainly when I found Simple Scrapbooks, Stacy Julian, and Cathy Zielske.
When did you know that this was your path? I was absolutely thrilled when I found BPC in 2008 and found that Cathy Zielske was teaching a class, Design Your Life. That got me on the path and now I'm even more amazed and thrilled to be teaching here!
Where is your favorite place on earth? I have very happy memories of when I lived in the Lake Tahoe area. Hiking and biking the mountain trails and hanging out by the lake are some of my favorite things to do. Anytime I can be on a beach or in the mountains, it's a good day in my book.
Where do you go to be inspired? I wish I could say hiking up a trail or sitting on the beach. In reality, I go to Target or Ikea, my favorite antique shop, and my local Archiver's.
Why are you here at BPC? "There's no place like home!" This is where I learned to scrapbook, and I love the education and the community here. I also love "forever access!"
Why do you love your life? I love that I get to come home to my family and am grateful for their support. I'm grateful to be able to follow my passions in both work and play; to help others to be happy, and live the best they can.
How do you do everything you do? I don't! I have a lot of unfinished projects. I know I can get to them someday. If I don't, that's okay too. Right now, I just do what I can and try to savor and celebrate moments and have some fun along the way. Oh, and I'm embracing simplicity + technology to make memory keeping easier right now.
