31 Things
Documenting the Details of Everyday Life through Words + Photos

In the return of 31 Things, Ali Edwards invites you to document a story a day for 31 days. Every morning, she'll share a writing prompt, a personal story of her own, and a bit of photo inspiration as she fosters an environment of support and an attitude of celebration for all of the different ways we experience life.

"…with an eye made quiet by the power of harmony,
and the deep power of joy, we see into the life of things."
- William Wordsworth/Tintern Abbey

31 Things is your invitation to "see into the life of things."

31 Things is about documenting your everyday life in a way that includes descriptions and reflections.

31 Things is about capturing life right now, but with greater depth and specificity than is typical with projects like "Week in the Life" or Project Life.

As you follow Ali's lead, you'll tell a daily story of your own and share it wherever you wish: on your blog, inside our private online classroom, in a Project Life album or mini-album, or on a traditional or hybrid scrapbook page using the printables and templates Ali provides.

You might spend the month completing a new scrapbook layout every day. Or you might spend the 31 days gathering your stories, and then wait to assemble your project at the end of the month. Either way, this is an opportunity to remember and record some of the special stories of your everyday life.

ABOUT THE ALBUM
Your photos and words will come together in a 12" x 12" album, inspired by in-depth handouts, video tutorials, and printable page elements from Ali. The content for each day will fit on a 6" x 12" foundation and occupy sixteen 12" x 12" pages (front and back) in an album.
