Mix It up Layer by Layer with Cindy Gilstrap

One of the main goals of creating is to play and have fun. In this class, that’s exactly what Cindy Gilstrap encourages! She’ll demonstrate different ways of adding mixed media layers to a blank page to create fun and colorful backgrounds. You’ll learn how to use standard items (like stencils) and nonstandard ones (like bubble wrap) to create one-of-a-kind patterns and textures on your backgrounds. Cindy will then show how she uses those backgrounds to make other unique projects that prove—when it comes to creativity—the possibilities really are endless!
